Clearing lots the clean way
Before a foundation is formed or a driveway is cut, the brush has to go. We use forestry mulching to clear underbrush and small trees from the building area, saving the mature trees that add value to your property and leaving the site walkable for surveyors, builders and inspectors.
What we handle
- Homesites and ranchettes — open the build area while keeping shade trees
- Barndominium, shop and barn pads
- Driveways and access roads through wooded lots
- Commercial lots that need underbrush removed for survey, sale or development
- Lots for sale — a cleared lot shows better and sells faster
Working with your builder
Share your site plan or tell us where the house, driveway and septic will go. We clear to those lines and leave the rest natural. Where a foundation or driveway needs stumps and roots removed below grade, we’ll tell you up front so you can coordinate that step with your builder or excavator.
Lot Clearing & Site Prep FAQs
Can you save certain trees on my lot?
Yes. Selective clearing is one of the biggest advantages of forestry mulching. Flag or point out the trees you want to keep and we will work around them.
Do you do full excavation and grading?
Our focus is clearing brush and small trees. For foundation excavation and final grading, your builder or an excavation contractor typically handles the next step — we can clear the site so they can start right away.
